Sam Harvey, PhD CPSP ORCid profile

I'm a speech pathologist and post-doctoral research fellow in the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre at the University of Queensland. In early 2023, I completed a PhD in the Centre of Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation studying the effect of dose of language therapy on recovery of language skills in people with aphasia.

My research interests stem from working with people with acquired communication difficulties and their families. I'm particularly interested in optimising and personalising speech and language treatments, understanding predictors of language recovery after stroke, and science communication with and for those with communication difficulties.

This site provides free and legal access to my published research, conference papers, and videos.
